Research and Education

I lead developments in Special Care Dentistry in Ireland. I initiated, coordinate and continue to deliver the Postgraduate Diploma in Special Care Dentistry awarded by Trinity College Dublin. I teach undergraduates and Dental Care Professionals. I also lecture regularly in this field to groups such as the HSE, and the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland.

I am currently leading an action research project that aims to establish national model of services for people with diabilities in Ireland. You can learn more about this important work at www.projectsmileireland.com
